Walery Stratovich was born in 1983 in Northern Caucasus Region, Russia. From 1981 to 1986 he studied at Vitebsk art Academy founded by Marc Chagall. He lives and creates in Grodno. 

Expressive composition and bold application of color are the main characteristics of his paintings. Stratovich mastered blending of cool and worm colors, bringing unusual character of his art. His art received a recognition and popularity in Europe and around the world
